Anyone who enjoys making music and who plays a band instrument is welcome to join (see the link on the right). We perform music ranging from show tunes and big band jazz to marches and major symphonic pieces. We work hard, but the mood is always light and friendly.
The band, now entering its 15th season, performs four to six concerts each year, with two or more serving as fund raising events for various Northland charities. Park University provides our home base, with rehearsals and most concerts being held in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel.
All Parkville Symphonic Band concerts are free and open to the public. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings 7:30- 9 p.m. at Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel, Park University
