Went in, got seated and waited for about 20 minutes while servers walked by our table to help others. Wasn't busy, probably 15 people total in the entire place. We got up and left. No one ever came by to even give us menus or water after we got seated. This place has changed names about 299 times and fails each time. Bet you 10 bucks, Cafe Cedar closes within the next year and something else will open.

The food is simply the best Mediterranean in Kansas City. They have remodeled and made it a wonderful dining experience. There is Jazz on Sunday's too, and its free.

Homemade pita, everything fresh! Great atmosphere! (lots of updates) Now jazz on Sundays... Love the Gyro, much better than other Mediterranean eateries...

I have eaten all over the city and as far as middle eastern food, Cafe Cedar is the BEST! Love the Vegetarian Platter and humus.

The service and people there are wonderful. The food is wonderful. But the atmosphere of the place such as the decor and where it is located isn't good at all. The outside of the place looks completely run-down, and inside it's very bland and boring.
But the service and food is excellent.

The food was good, but really not as I remember it overall. Hummus was GREAT! Service was below average. I miss the ambiance of the outside seating at the old location.
This location really needs some work, especially outside. Dark and not as clean as it could be.

The food was very good, the hummus was to die for, chicken pita sandwich I would recomend to everyone, I was dispointed with the decor, it needs a little work, paint would help

The food is sooooo fabulous that I absolutely HAD to go to Cafe Cedar after a 3 1/2 year absence. I still miss it now that I no longer live in Parkville, MO

We had lunch at Cafe Cedar today. Everything was cooked fresh and was delicious when it came to our table. Couldn't have been better.
